1.1 In these terms and conditions:
- Reference to “we” and “us” is a reference to Carrymyheart keepsakes
- Reference to “you” is a reference to the purchaser of the Goods from us.
- “Contract” means the contract between us for the sale and purchase of the Goods which incorporates these Terms & Conditions.
- “Goods” means the jewellery and or keepsakes and purchased by you from us.
- “Terms” refers to these terms and conditions.
3. The sale of goods online
3.1. We will not take any responsibilty for an error in the ordering process due to non payment of goods or any technical error on your part when ordering.
3.2. All information given to us during the ordering process we will asssume as correct when beginning your keepsake order. We will not take responsibility for any error in the choice or personalisation of goods from us.
3.3. If a purchase is made and buyer does not send in inclusions to our studio within 28 days, seller will be credited with shop credit to the value of their point of sale, a refund will not be offered.
3.4. Add ons or alterations are only accepted after the point of sale at sellers discretion. Please choose extras with point of sale to save any confusion in the ordering process.
4. Design and personalisation
4.1. Gold or silver attachments/ findings used in example photos may differ due to the stock we hold and source, however if you have a preference to a certain clasp or finding please email us so we can check our stock.
4.2. Whilst photographs are used on our webpage and social media to show similarities to your chosen keepsake there may be slight differences due to our art being handmade. An example of this could be the way shimmer, glitter and colour sit with your inclusions. Also the way locks of hair and cremation ashes naturally distribute themselves inside your keepsake, making them completely unique.
4.3. Due to the handmade element involved in the design of our Keepsakes you may find small air bubbles in our work. Whilst we endeavour to keep these to an absolute minimum, please note that they do often naturally occur in resin. Your keepsake may also have natural creations lines caused by moulds and equipment we use by hand. Please do not expect your keepsake to be to a similar standard as a mass produced bead, we are a handmade business and take pride in each piece being unique.
4.4. It is the responsibility of the customer to check measurements for attachments, charm bracelets or any other third party piece of jewellery that the customer may need a charm bead, pendent or any other item of ours for. We cannot associate ourselves with any other brand or company. We offer measurements only.
5. Sending your inclusions / elements
5.1. We will not be held responsible for any inclusion sent to us by post, never send the last of what you have. We are yet to have an item go missing in the post to us but we would advise sending recorded post.
5.2. We will not be held responsible for items sent to us from overseas that may get lost via the courier service you use. Customs or other charges for failing to declare goods or similar inside a parcel or letter are the responsibility of the sender. If a charge is made the sender must pay to release the item.
5.3. We always post back what we don't use inside the parcel with your keepsake. If you've sent over the recommended amount of your element(s) then the buyer must pay the additional cost of postage.
5.4. Advise is often given to each customer for the recommended amount of element needed per piece. Customers can send a lock of hair of a variation of thickness and this is still usuable. At least around 15 strands. It is the customers responsibility to send the correct amount needed of ashes. The amount sent will be used in each keepsake. Customers are advised never to send the last of what you have.
6. Creation time and design updates
6.1. Leading time can only be counted from the date we recieve your inclusions / elements by post. Whilst we usually check in these elements with you due to busy periods we do not take the responsibility or liability to update you at every step of our design process.
LEAD TIME IS 6-8 WEEKS. WE WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE SHOULD AN UNFORSEEN CIRCUMSTANCE OCCUR THAT PREVENTS US FROM COMPLETING YOUR KEEPSAKE IN THIS TIME FRAME. HOWEVER IT IS VERY UNLIKELY THAT THIS WOULD OCCUR.
6.2. Photographs of your keepsake are the property of us and are only provided to buyer at sellers discretion. It is not part of the sale to provide any images of your keepsake.
6.3 Once you place and order with us please keep an eye on your emails around the current lead time for a dispatch email.
7. Caring for your Keepsake / Damage liability
7.1. It is your responsibility to read the care instructions surrounding your keepsake aswell as adhering to the text for care. This will ensure the longevity of your precious item. We will not be held responsible for any damage caused through negligence and will charge an hourly fee for repairs plus costs for any silver/gold needing replaced.
